Lana Del Rey – Norman Fucking Rockwell

I know this is one of my favourite albums because I played it when it came out and I kept playing it. I played it in the kitchen and I played it in the shower and I played it in the lounge room. I played it like I hadn’t played a record in so long! I was on tour and drove my traveling companions crazy! What do you want me to say? When you can’t stop playing a record, you can’t describe why it’s that and not another record. If I try to say why, it’ll be because I love pop music like The Ronettes. I like every track on the album. I guess my favourite album makers of the last few years are Lana Del Rey and Bill Callahan.
