Kim Gordon Unveils New Album, ‘The Collective’

The US artist's second solo album is set for release in March

Kim Gordon has shared details of a new album, The Collective.

Marking the former Sonic Youth member’s second solo album, the 11-track release was recorded in her native Los Angeles alongside producer Justin Raisen, who also accompanied Gordon on 2019 solo debut No Home Record.

To mark the announcement of The Collective, Gordon has shared a video for lead track ‘BYE BYE’, which you can watch above. She’s also announced a run of live shows in the US for the latter half of March, and you can find details of those here.

Matador will release The Collective on March 8, 2024.
