Ben Frost has shared details of his first studio album in six years, which is titled Scope Neglect.
Set for release through Mute, the eight-track release features contributions from Liam Andrews of MY DISCO and Greg Kubacki of Car Bomb. It’s said to blend elements of metal and minimalism, according to a press release, with one cut from the record, ‘Turning The Prism’, having already been released in November. In a statement about Scope Neglect, Frost said: "There is always a shape and a sense of proportion that I am looking for. And with these elements, I was looking to sort of recalibrate some familiar mechanics with the hope of creating something new."
Mute will release Scope Neglect on March 1, 2024.
