Sunn O))) have released a limited-edition LP featuring a pair of extended rehearsal demo pieces.
Clocking in together at 39 minutes, the two recordings featured on 25th Anniversary Rehearsal Demo LP – ‘Wyoming Big Sky’ and ‘Acres Of Calms’ – were captured earlier this year during studio sessions with recording engineer Brad Wood, which also birthed Sunn O)))’s recent Singles Club Vol. 8 release for Sub Pop. The new LP is limited to 1000 copies only, and will be sold exclusively on the group’s current Shoshin (初心) Duo tour of North America, which kicks off today (November 22) at Seattle’s The Moore Theater and finishes on December 6 at Birmingham venue The Saturn.
