Björk Protests Fish Farming On New Song With Rosalía

Profits from the song will go towards supporting people who are fighting against fish farming in Iceland

Björk is set to release a new song with Rosalía.

Previewed initially above via an a capella excerpt featuring the two artists’ voices in unison, the clip was shared on YouTube under the title ‘help fight fish farming in Iceland’. In a note shared via the YouTube video, Björk wrote: "I am offering a song me and Rosalía sang together. The profits will help the fight against fish farming in Iceland. It will come out in October. People at the Fjord Seyðisfjörður have stood up and protested against fish farming starting there. We would like to donate sales of the song to help with their legal fees and hopefully it can be an exemplary case for others."

This is the first release of music from Björk since she guested on a rework of Shygirl’s song ‘Woe’ in March of this year.
