New Order are reissuing Substance 1987.
The compilation – which collects all of the band’s released singles up to 1987 in their 12-inch versions, along with their respective B-side tracks and non-album cuts ‘True Faith’ and ‘1963’ – has been newly remastered for the reissue, with editions set to be made available across CD, vinyl and cassette formats. The original compilation will appear on the updated release alongside additional rarities and an unreleased live album recorded at Irvine Meadows, California, in 1987, where the band played the whole record in sequence.
Warner will release Substance 1987 on November 10, 2023.
