The Cure – Disintegration

This is another really important record to me, The Cure are one of my favourite bands of all time. I like this record in particular because it's a sort of journey and it could be a break up or maybe it's the world disintegrating, collapsing around us. But yet, there's just this beautiful music. I like dark music, but that has slightly lighter elements too. It's quite intense, but I like that. I particularly like the last track, ‘Untitled’. It has the most amazing bassline.

I’m a massive fan of Robert Smith, really, I think he's one of the most amazing songwriters. I was lucky enough to meet him when I did the Gorillaz live stream event because we were both on the same Gorillaz record. Everyone there was like “Oh my God, it’s Robert Smith.” We all lined up to take it in turns to say hello, but he was totally chill, very humble actually.
