The London club is inviting the public to contribute ahead of its 2024 publish date

fabric will mark its 25th anniversary in 2024 with the release of a new book chronicling the London club's story to date.

The book, set to be published by White Rabbit, will look over the club's history from when it first opened in 1999 through to the present day, also covering the period during which the venues was forcibly closed by the council and police across 2016 and 2017. The book, which is currently untitled, will include words by writer Joe Muggs, in addition to contributions from the public.

In order to garner contributions from clubgoers, fabric is inviting people to submit memories of fabric, as well as stories of notable experiences they've had at the club that have significantly affected their lives. Public entries can take the form of words, photos, videos and audio recordings, as well as scans of posters, flyers and artwork, and memories of significant track IDs heard at the venue.

In a statement, fabric said: "Ever since we opened in 1999, you – our dancers and our community – have played such an important part in our history. To mark the big occasion, we are working on a very special project with White Rabbit, and we'd love you to be part of it.

"Whether you live the fabric experience in real life and have been a regular at the club over the years, or you experience the fabric brand from afar (through records, fabricfirst, or maybe you've been inspired by our lineups or artwork), we would love to receive your memories."

The deadline for contributions is August 7, 2023. You can submit your own entry by filling via this Google Form.
