The Chemical Brothers Unveil Career Retrospective Book

Penned by the duo's longtime press officer, Robin Turner, it features interviews with them and other artists

The Chemical Brothers are set to be the focus on a new book, Paused In Cosmic Reflection.

Written by the duo’s longtime press officer, Robin Turner, the 336-page book takes a look over their 30-year career, from first forming in Manchester through to becoming one of the UK’s best-known dance music acts. In addition to delving deep on the creative process that has produced some of their biggest hits, the book also features archive photos, some of which have never been seen before.

Turner pieced together Paused In Cosmic Reflection via hundreds of hours of interviews with the duo’s Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons, as well as peers and collaborators such as Noel Gallagher, Beck, Beth Orton and Erol Alkan.

The announcement of the book has been accompanied by the unveiling of a new track from The Chemical Brothers, the Halo Maud-featuring ‘Live Again’, which you can listen to above. It will feature on their next album, set for release later this year.

White Rabbit will publish Paused In Cosmic Reflection in October 2023.
