Sea Power are reissuing their score for the 1934 fictional documentary Man Of Aran.

Originally produced in 2009, the band, then known as British Sea Power, were commissioned by the Edinburgh Film Festival to create their own soundtrack for the film, which they premiered live during a screening at the festival. A studio version of the score was released later that year.

The reissue of Man Of Aran marks the first time that it will be made available on vinyl, with the album set to be pressed initially on yellow and blue vinyl, with original artwork. A black vinyl edition will follow after the first run.

Rough Trade will release Man Of Aran on August 25, 2023.
