Christian Eede , February 1st, 2023 15:29

The nine-track 'Tikiman Vol. 1' is out in March

Paul St. Hilaire, the dub artist whose vocals have appeared prominently on records by the likes of Rhythm & Sound and Deadbeat, has a new album on the way.

Out in March, Tikiman Vol. 1 draws on dub and dub techno, with St. Hilaire's distinctive vocal covering topics such as education and displacement across its nine tracks. Produced at his home studio in Kreuzberg, Berlin, it's the artist's first solo full-length release since 2006's Adsom - A Divine State Of Mind, with full-length collaborative efforts with producers such as Deadbeat and Rhauder forming the bulk of his recorded output since. You can listen to lead track 'Little Way' just below.

Kynant will release Tikiman Vol. 1 on March 31, 2023.
