London-based promoter The Hydra is set to mark 10 years of operations this autumn with a trio of daytime events at London venue Printworks.
Kicking off this Saturday (October 29), The Hydra will team up with Hessle Audio as the label marks its own 15th anniversary with a lineup that includes label founders Ben UFO, Pangaea and Pearson Sound, as well as friends such as Daphni, DJ Stingray 313, Call Super, Objekt, Shanti Celeste, SHERELLE, Avalon Emerson and more.
The following weekend, on November 5, it’s Erased Tapes’ turn to mark its 15th anniversary at the venue. Andy Stott, Clark, Gold Panda, Plaid, Nathan Fake and Pantha Du Prince are all set to play live, while Gilles Peterson, Flora Yin-Wong and object blue will DJ.
Rounding off the trio of dates, The Hydra teams up with EFG London Jazz Festival on November 19 to host DJ sets from Bonobo, Danilo Plessow (FKA Motor City Drum Ensemble) and Mafalda, among others, as well as a takeover from South Asian collective Dialled In.
Tickets for the shows are available via The Hydra’s website.
The shows will mark one of the final opportunities to visit Printworks in its current form with the venue scheduled to close for some years in 2023 as the surrounding area undergoes redevelopment.
