PJ Harvey Details ‘B-Sides, Demos & Rarities’ Box Set

The 59-track release is largely made up of music that has not been available physically or digitally until now

PJ Harvey has revealed the final release in her long-running reissues series.

A 59-track, career-spanning box set, B-Sides, Demos & Rarities, will round off the series, taking in songs that have previously been unavailable physically or digitally. 14 of the featured tracks were either previously unreleased, or appear in previously unreleased versions.

The record will be released digitally, as well as in 6xLP and 3xCD sets. The physical formats will include previously unseen archive photography by Maria Mochnacz. You can listen to the first EP released from the box set – which includes a previously unreleased demo version of ‘Dry’, an unreleased demo of ‘Missed’, and ‘Somebody’s Down, Somebody’s Name’, a track that has been made available digitally for the first time – just above.

PJ Harvey’s series of reissues of her albums and other releases began in July 2020, when she re-released her 1992 debut album Dry, alongside a collection of associated bonus material from the album’s recording sessions.

UMC / Island and Beggars will release B-Sides, Rarities & Demos on November 4, 2022.
