Team Behind The Cause To Open New Pop-Up Venue In London

The new space will be based around a community-focused record shop and bar

The team behind closed London club The Cause is opening a new pop-up venue in the city, called All My Friends.

Based in Hackney Wick, the new venue will currently open for three months only, from October 7. It will run from Tuesdays through to Sunday each week, opening at midday and closing late. Events based around the community that existed around The Cause before it closed are planned to fill the schedule, with the first few weeks of programming set to be revealed in the coming weeks.

The new space will house a record store, as well as a bar with craft beers and street food. The record store will stock new records, in addition to used collections from DJs close to the club, covering house, techno, dub, jungle, jazz, funk, soul, disco, hip hop and more. The events that take place at the venue, The Cause says, will be more "laid-back" than the parties at The Cause.

You can sign up here to be kept up-to-date with plans for the new venue.

The Cause closed at its original Tottenham Hale space at the start of this year due to pre-existing plans to regenerate the area around the venue.
