OFF! Return With First Album In Eight Years, ‘Free LSD’

Keith Morris and Dimitri Coats are joined by new drummer Justin Brown and new bassist Autry Fulbright II for the new record

Los Angeles punk rock band OFF! have shared details of their first album in eight years, Free LSD.

Due out in September, the album features a lineup comprised of previous band members Keith Morris and Dimitri Coats, alongside new drummer Justin Brown and new bassist Autry Fulbright II. Saxophonist Jon Wahl also contributes to the album, which the press release describes as having an "experimental flair" compared to OFF!’s previous output. You can watch a video for lead track ‘War Over Los Angeles’ above.

In a statement about the new album, which follows 2014’s Wasted Years, Keith Morris said: "After making music for as long as I have, it was time to use a palette that includes lime green, turquoise and magenta instead of the typical colours and shades that were involved in all of the other breakneck and car chase scenarios. Miles Davis with Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters as opposed to Milo Goes To College."
