The band's sixth studio album, originally released in 2001, has been "remixed" and "re-constructed" for the new release

Manic Street Preachers have reworked their sixth studio album Know Your Enemy for a forthcoming release due this September.

The updated version of the album has been entirely remixed and reconstructed to form two separate albums as was originally planned for its initial 2001 release. The new version also includes two previously unreleased tracks by the band. 'Studies In Paralysis' and 'Rosebud', the latter of which you can watch a video for above.

The new release of the album is described in author and long-term band collaborator Robin Turner's sleeve notes as "the Director's Cut of Know Your Enemy." He adds that "the picture has been painstakingly restored, cleaned up, brightened," and "although it doesn't aim to replace the original, it most certainly enhances it." The reissue will be released across digital formats, as well as on double-vinyl and in double-CD and triple-CD packages – the latter includes an extra disc of cassette and studio rehearsal demos.

Columbia will release Know Your Enemy on September 9, 2022.
