Sarah Davachi Unveils New Album, ‘Two Sisters’

The album, which sees her work with a number of musicians, includes pieces for chamber ensemble and pipe organ

Sarah Davachi has a new album on the way via her own Late Music imprint.

Titled Two Sisters, the record includes nine extended compositions for chamber ensemble and pipe organ. Davachi worked with a number of musicians, including the Apartment House ensemble, to record the album, which includes an expanded instrumentation list of the world’s third largest carillon, an Italian tracker organ from 1742, choir, strings and trombone, as well as sine tones and electronic drones. Two Sisters follows on from last year’s Antiphonals album, which was also released via Davachi’s own label.

Late Music will release Two Sisters on September 9, 2022.
