Erasure Reveal New Album, ‘Day-Glo (Based On A True Story)’

The 10-track album was created using elements of their 2020 album 'The Neon'

Erasure are set to release a new album this August.

Comprised of 10 tracks, Day-Glo (Based On A True Story) was created using elements of the music that appeared on the duo’s last studio album, 2020’s The Neon. You can check out a short preview of the album above.

Day-Glo (Based On A True Story) emerged after Erasure’s Vince Clarke found himself with some spare time to spend in the studio, but no agenda. After spending time manipulating the files for tracks on The Neon and morphing them into new productions, he passed them on to Andy Bell to begin adding his own parts with the help of long-time collaborator Gareth Jones.

Mute will release Day-Glo (Based On A True Story) on August 12, 2022.
