Mike Paradinas' 1997 breakthrough album will be re-released in a 4xLP set this July

Mike Paradinas' fourth album as µ-Ziq, 1997's Lunatic Harness, is to be reissued this July to mark its 25th anniversary.

Set to be made available on 4xLP, double-CD and digital formats, the updated release brings together the full original album with the My Little Beautiful EP, 1998's Astralwerks-released Brace Yourself EP and four rare tracks by Paradinas. The vinyl release will come with individual printed sleeves housed in a rigid box, as well as an insert featuring a collage of some of the press Paradinas received at the time.

Lunatic Harness was originally released in July 1997 amid the height of the 'drill'n'bass' movement, and received significant positive press at the time of its release for combining this sound with more significantly melodic elements than other similar records of the time. The reissue of the record comes amid a flurry of new releases from Paradinas' µ-Ziq alias, including a just-announced album, Magic Pony Ride, and the EPs Goodbye and Goodbye Remixes.

Planet Mu will release Lunatic Harness (25th Anniversary Edition) on July 8, 2022.
