Arca has shared a brand new song, called ‘Cayó’.
The track, which features additional production from Tim Hecker, has been released to mark the announcement of a new box set from Arca, featuring all five albums in her Kick series of records. The albums will be split across a 5xLP release, and a limited number of box sets will come with alternate artwork for KiCk i.
In a statement, about ‘Cayó’, Arca said the track was about "exploring self states, non-binary modes of relating of that which is ‘other’, creating new intersectional ways of mediating identity through exploring sensuality, and heightened communion with the sensual embodiment of self." XL will release Kick: The Complete Cycle on May 20, 2022.
