Thom Yorke Shares New Song, ‘That’s How Horses Are’

It premiered during the BBC broadcast of the final episode of 'Peaky Blinders'

Thom Yorke has released a new single, ‘That’s How Horses Are’.

The track was written for the final season of Peaky Blinders, and debuted during the final episode of the show, which aired via the BBC last night (April 3). It’s the second track of Yorke’s to feature in the show’s final run, after ‘5.17’. Series director Anthony Byrne told NME earlier this year that Yorke and fellow Radiohead member Jonny Greenwood had written original music for the show, saying: "The music has always been really important historically, and I was really keen to bring a dramatic score into it." Listen to ‘That’s How Horses Are’ above.

A track that Yorke and Greenwood jointly wrote for the show also debuted during Sunday night’s episode of Peaky Blinders, in the form of The Smile’s ‘Pana-Vision’.

‘That’s How Horses Are’ is out now on XL.
