Batu is lining up his debut album for release next month.
Set to arrive via his own Timedance label, Opal comprises 11 tracks and includes instrumentation from fellow Bristol artist memotone, as well as vocals on one cut – ‘Solace’ – from serpentwithfeet. Coastal landscapes and mineral matter are said to have provided inspiration for the sounds and textures explored across the record, which follows on from last year’s three track I Own Your Energy EP. Timedance will release Opal on April 29, 2022.
