Hyperdub’s next release will be a new EP from Chicago footwork producer Heavee.
Spanning six tracks, Audio Assault is Heavee’s first full release for Hyperdub after appearances on 2015’s Nextlife and 2014’s 10.1 compilations. Audio Assault is said to have been made with video game music in mind, with the producer wanting "each track to score a series of moments in battle; the calm before the storm, the showdown, the battle, and the aftermath." Hyperdub will release Audio Assault on March 25, 2022.
