The film is part live performance, part documentary, part absurdist comedy

Tropical Fuck Storm are releasing a new feature-length film, Goody Goody Gumdrops, which will be available to stream on December 8.

The film, shot across three locations at frontman Gareth Liddiard's and guitarist Fiona Kitschin's ranch in the Australian countryside, follows the recording of the band's third album, Deep States, released in August. Co-directed with Nina Renee, it's billed as part live show, part documentary and part absurdist comedy. You can watch a trailer for the film above.

"Because we were unable to come out and play our new album in your town in 2021, we have invited you into our home, TFS HQ, where we will host and play you new songs from Deep States, plus some of our old hits," the band said in a statement. "So come on in and meet all the dogs!"

Deep States will be available to stream via Mandolin from December 8, with tickets costing $15USD (£11). You can purchase yours here.
