Mind Charity Shares Mental Health Guides For Music Community

The resources are part of a collaboration with Ninja Tune and others

UK mental health charity Mind has shared a collection of resources on the subject of mental health within the music community, as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.

The guides, put together and shared in collaboration with Ninja Tune, UK events promoter Percolate, and booking agencies Paradigm and POLY, are designed to target different areas of the sector, covering organisations, artist managers, employees and freelancers. You can access the guides here.

In addition to the mental health resources, Mind is also launching the Mind X Music podcast on June 15. The panel will be streamed live online on that date, and will feature Joe Hastings, who is head of health and welfare at Help Musicians UK, and Sally Anne Gross and Dr. George Musgrave, who co-authored a study called Can Music Make You Sick? Music And Depression.
