Malmö festival Intonal has shared details of its return, scheduled for next month.
After being forced to cancel its 2020 edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival will take place across various Malmö venues, with the likes of KMRU, Ellen Arkbro, Minor Science, Varg2™, Cucina Povera and Anna von Hausswolff all billed to play live. Johanna Knutsson and Sebastian Mullaert will also play individual live sets, as well as joining up with Swedish producer Dorisburg for a joint performance as Circle Of Live.
Other lineup highlights include dance workshops, installations and film screenings. Among those, Steve Goodman, AKA Kode9, will present an audio essay called Audio Virology.
Festival organisers will limit audience capacity for each performance in order to comply with Sweden’s current COVID-19 safety and social distancing regulations.
Intonal will take place in Malmö from June 16 to 20, 2021. Find more information here.
