US label Important Records is releasing a new compilation made up of long-form pieces by a selection of experimental artists.
The Harmonic Series II is curated by American musician Duane Pitre and sees six artists explore just intonation, each contributing a piece across six sides of vinyl. The contributors are Caterina Barbieri, Kali Malone, Catherine Lamb, Tashi Wada, Byron Westbrook and Duane Pitre himself. Important Records will release The Harmonic Series II on June 25, 2021.
