Mute and Spoon Records are collaborating on a series of Can live album releases.
The run of releases kicks off in May with Live In Stuttgart 1975, which will be available across CD, vinyl and digital formats. Split into five parts, the live recording captures the core group of Michael Karoli, Jaki Liebezeit, Irmin Schmidt and Holger Czukay in full flow. You can listen to an excerpt of ‘Stuttgart 75 Eins’ from the live album above.
The Can Live series will see a number of bootlegged recordings given the remaster treatment, overseen by Irmin Schmidt and producer and engineer Rene Tinner. Further instalments in the series will follow in the months after the release of Live In Stuttgart 1975.
Mute and Spoon Records will release Live In Stuttgart 1975 on May 28, 2021.
