Slovakia's NEXT Music Festival will return next week with its 21st edition set to be streamed online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Taking in live performances streamed from London, Bratislava and Budapest, audiences will be able to experience this year's programme within an interactive 3D environment by Amsterdam-based Czech visual studio The Rodina, which will include several stages, featuring concerts, audiovisual performances, installations, and discussions.

Among the artists involved are Renick Bell, Mark Fell and Rian Treanor, and Dorian Concept and Zanshin, the latter of whom will perform a concert on the synth-prototype Moogtonium, which was custom made by Bob Moog in 1957.

NEXT Music Festival has also linked with London's Cafe OTO for part of this year's programme, with a number of performances to be streamed from the venue. Among those playing at Cafe OTO will be Beatrice Dillon, Graham Lambkin, Daniel Blumberg and Monika Šubrtová.

NEXT Music Festival will take place from November 30 to December 6, 2020.
