E3 Worldwide: Dizzee Rascal's Favourite Albums
Aaron Bishop , October 28th, 2020 11:08

As Dizzee Rascal releases his first album since 2017, he guides Aaron Bishop through the songs that shaped him and how the artists behind them resonated with him from being the only black kid playing Nirvana on the estate to smoking with Snoop Dogg.

Nirvana - In Utero
I didn’t know at the time that Never Mind was more successful, I just remember hearing the tunes and loving them. There were some mad ones on here. I think it might’ve even been a bit harder this album even. I don’t think you could get away with some of the songs on here. But Nirvana was just heavy, well produced music and as I’ve got older and watched all the documentaries about them and how it was made and thought ‘woah that’s crazy’. Got to meet Dave Grohl eventually, as a Foo Fighter. Both this album and Nevermind meant a lot to me.
