Snoop Dogg - Doggystyle
This album I got into later in my life. I knew of it but it was when I understood more about production and albums more seriously that I realised how fucking serious this was. I think when I moved into my house, the first house I actually bought when I moved out, is when I properly listened to it because I had a few pool parties. I’d literally just have this album running by itself and it catered to it, so I knew there was no better rap party album than this one. By the time I heard this I was already a proper Snoop fan. I’ve got DVDs that I bought at Canal Street, just before YouTube, that just have Snoop videos on them. He’s probably my favourite hero that I’ve met of mine as far as how he treated me. You see like how you have an image of your hero? He was that. I smoked weed with him. He was Snoop Dogg. I told him how much of a fan I was and it was all blessed. He interviewed me once as well, it’s on YouTube.
