As Dizzee Rascal releases his first album since 2017, he guides Aaron Bishop through the songs that shaped him and how the artists behind them resonated with him from being the only black kid playing Nirvana on the estate to smoking with Snoop Dogg.

Missy Elliott - Supa Dupa Fly
People like her, when I got my chance to be an artist and have videos, I referenced people like her and Busta Rhymes - basically that whole era of them and Hype Williams. I wanted to be different. I got a lot of that from her and her sound, again, Timbaland. Timbaland, The Neptunes, DJ Paul and Juicy J were production wise what I was influenced by. But especially Timbaland. He’s my favourite producer over everyone. His shit was crazy, legendary. But The Neptunes came through and did a mazza as well.
