The new edition of the Yellow Magic Orchestra member's third solo album will come with previously unreleased instrumentals

Ryuichi Sakamoto's third solo album Hidari Ude No Yume is being reissued.

Due out via WeWantSounds, the album's original Japanese version will be released outside of the country for the first time since a Dutch label picked it up for a small vinyl release in 1981, shortly after its original release. It will be pressed up as a single LP and a limited edition double-LP gatefold, the latter of which features previously unreleased instrumental mixes of the record's tracks. You can listen to 'Venezia' from the album above.

Hidari Ude No Yume translates as "Left-Handed Dream," and was co-produced by Sakamoto and British producer Robin Scott in Japan's Alfa Studio. It followed on from Sakamoto's first two solo albums outside of Yellow Magic Orchestra, 1978's Thousand Knives and 1980's B-2 Unit.

WeWantSounds will reissue Hidari Ude No Yume on November 13, 2020.
