Michachu & The Shapes have changed their name to Good Sad Happy Bad, and shared details of a new album.

Taking their new band name from the title of their final album as Micachu & The Shapes, which came out in 2015, the band – comprised of Marc Pell, Mica Levi and Raisa Khan, as well as new member CJ Calderwood – will release their next album, Shades, next month. Above, you can watch a video for the new record’s title track.

Things have changed from the previous incarnation of the group. In addition to Calderwood joining to contribute vocals, saxophone and recorder, Raisa Khan is now leading the band’s vocals and songs.

Textile Records will release Shades on October 16, 2020.
