Wiley has been temporarily banned from Twitterr following a series of anti-semitic posts over the weekend.

The grime artist shared a number of tweets which contained anti-semitic tropes and abusive comments over the course of Friday and Saturday. Following the wave of tweets, his account was banned by Twitter, first for only a few hours, and then again for a week, as The Guardian reports. Twitter has also hidden a number of the most abusive and offensive tweets from Wiley's account.

Wiley was also dropped by his management company, A-List Management, in the wake of the series of posts. His long-time manager, John Woolf, was repeatedly referenced in the series of posts and is Jewish. The Guardian's report adds that the case is being investigated by London's Metropolitan Police. A video posted to Instagram by Wiley on Sunday (July 26) confirms that "12 police" had visited his house.
