Stephen O’Malley has collaborated with Senyawa on a new album.
Bima Sakti marks the first time the Sunn O))) member has worked with the Indonesian duo. The collaboration came about after O’Malley travelled to Indonesia with theatre director and choreographer Gisèle Vienne in 2018. It was there that they met Wukir Suryadi, who forms one-half of Senyawa. You can hear clips of the six-track release via Boomkat.
