A number of Kraftwerk releases are coming to digital and streaming services for the first time from July 3.
Amongst the newly available material is the Dolby Atmos/HD Surround mix of the group’s 2017 audio/video documentary 3-D The Catalogue, which will now be available to stream for the first time through Amazon HD and Tidal. The stereo version of the documentary’s German language original will also be made available worldwide.
Additionally, the original German language versions of five Kraftwerk studio albums will be made available to stream and download worldwide for the first time. (They were previously only accessible in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.) Those albums are Trans Europa Express, Die Mensch-Maschine, Computerwelt, Techno Pop, and The Mix.
Florian Schneider, co-founder of Kraftwerk with Ralf Hütter, passed away earlier this year.
