All the sets from ARRAY's boundary-pushing online festival are available to watch online, featuring Dave Okumu of The Invisible, Dan Samsa, Hejira and many more

ARRAY festival's extraordinary collection of ambisonic 360-degree audio-visual performances are all available to watch online.

The festival, initially due to take place physically at The Albany in South East London and make use of a cutting-edge speaker dome specially engineered by audio experts Genelec. With lockdown scuppering their plans, however, organisers moved the event online.

Performers including Dave Okumu of The Invisible, Hejira, Kamikaze Space Programme, Uta Kögelsberger and Imogen have instead created immersive 360-degree performances, utilising ambisonic technology to place the listener at the centre of a sphere of music.

They premiered on the weekend of June 4-6, but are still available to view online until July 10. Tickets are free, but a £10 donation is suggested. You can get them all via ARRAY's website here.

Recently, tQ spoke to performer and curator Dan Samsa, executive producer & co-founder Natalie Hall, and artistic director Tom Slater of Call & Response to get an in-depth look at the festival. You can read that here. The full list of performances are below.
