Instant Classic To Temporarily Wind Down Operations

The Polish label is taking a break amid the COVID-19 pandemic

Instant Classic, the Polish label that has put out a number of tQ’s favourite releases in recent years, is to wind down operations for the foreseeable future at the end of this month as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The final release from the label ahead of its break is a new album from Dynasonic, the project that includes members of fellow Instant Classic acts Kristen and Lotto. Titled #2, it is, as you might expect, the group’s second album and finds them building on the dub-influenced minimalism of their 2019 debut. You can watch a video for lead track ‘D5’ above, and find the release on Bandcamp here.

"Our first album was created as a side exercise, mostly making use of our spare time," Dynasonic’s drummer Mateusz Rychlicki said in a statement. "No titles and tags, just a desire to explore some low frequencies."

Instant Classic will release #2 on April 30, 2020.
