PREMIERE: Horse Lords Share Video For ‘People’s Park’

The track features on the Baltimore's band fifth album, which is due out next month

Horse Lords have shared a new track called ‘People’s Park’, alongside an accompanying video. You can watch it above.

The track features on the Baltimore band’s fifth album, The Common Task, which is set for release next month and follows on from 2017’s Mixtape IV.

The title of ‘People’s Park’ comes from a public park established by Latinx liberation organisation, the Young Lords. As a press release explains, "the park was built both as a community-run community space and as a bulwark against development on a vacant tract of land in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighbourhood, which at the time had a large Puerto Rican population who correctly feared they were being pushed out."

Northern Spy will release The Common Task on March 13, while Horse Lords will head out on a tour of North America and Europe through March and May in the wake of the album’s release. Find the band’s list of upcoming tour dates here.
