Diamanda Galás is reissuing her debut album.
Originally released on Y Records in 1982, The Litanies Of Satan has been remastered for its updated release and will be made available on vinyl, CD and digital formats via Diamanda Galás’ own Intravenal Sound Operations label. It also comes with the original artwork.
This is the first release in a series of reissues of Galás’ work with plans coming about after she regained ownership and control of her entire back catalogue last year. It follows her decision to make her back catalogue available on all major streaming services for the first time in April 2019.
Galás has also remastered her 1984 self-titled second album, with plans for its reissue set to be unveiled later this year.
Intravenal Sound Operations will release The Litanies Of Satan on May 1, 2020.
