Gum Takes Tooth ‘No Walls No Air’ Remix

Drums & electronic two piece surprise release Broken English Club re-rub via Bandcamp as a Friday breakfast treat

Of course if you already have Arrow, the Gum Takes Tooth debut album for Rocket and one of the LPs of the year so far, you already have the juddering anxiety rave of ‘No Walls, No Air’.

The two track digital release this morning comes with a banging remix by Broken English Club, aka Oliver Ho, who gives it a punchy remix as if the Killing Joke rhythm section at their 1980 peak were being deprogrammed by Front 242. Ho, a labelmate of Marie Davidson, takes the unusual step of adding his own vocals and lyrics, essentially building a new track, albeit one with the same nerve-shredding build.
