Record Label Blue Note To Open Pop-Up Shop

The London shop marks 80 years of the much-loved jazz label

Jazz label Blue Note is opening a pop-up record shop in London this Friday (November 15) to mark 80 years since its first release.

Blue Note 80, which will be based in the the Coal Drops Yard part of King’s Cross close to Honest Jon’s’ second store, will sell records, framed canvas artworks and a number of special Blue Note 80 prints.

The shop will also host a number of special events while it’s open, including live performances from artists on the label’s roster and talks hosted by label representatives and other affiliates.

The shop will open daily from 11am-6pm and close permanently on November 23. Opening day events this Friday will run from 1pm-late. You can find more information here.
