New York black metallers Liturgy have released a new album, called H.A.Q.Q..
An acronym for ‘Haelegen Above Quality And Quantity’, H.A.Q.Q. is the band’s fourth studio album and follows on from 2015’s The Ark Work. A press release says that the new album "represents [the band’s Hunter] Hunt-Hendrix’s uniquely marxist and psychoanalytic vision of God." Hunt-Hendrix worked on the album while also composing and producing music for new opera Origin Of The Alimonies.
The album was recorded in August of this year and is only available digitally for now. A physical release will follow on February 21, 2020 via Hunt-Hendrix’s label, YLYLCYN. You can stream the record in full above.
H.A.Q.Q. is out now on YLYLCYN.
