Andy Stott To Release New Double-EP

The nine-track 'It Should Be Us' is "one for dancing"

Andy Stott will release his first new material since 2016 tomorrow (November 8) in the form of a double-EP titled It Should Be Us. The release is preceded by the low-slung chugger ‘Versi’ which can be heard above.

The record follows on from Stott’s 2016 album Too Many Voices and is his first EP release since 2011’s Passed Me By. Both arrived, like this EP, via his Modern Love label.

It Should Be Us was recorded "fast and loose over the summer," according to a press release, with the producer mostly drawing on slower tempos across the record. Nine tracks appear on the digital release, while the vinyl release will feature eight tracks.

A new album from Stott is promised for 2020.
