Moor Mother - Fetish Bones
Again, this is an important album to hear from a black artist, and it's just such a punk album, but one that is also very experimental. I feel this one very emotionally and connect to it on a very cathartic level, which is something I think a lot of people can do, even if we didn't experience the same hardships. In time, you can understand where it comes from and I think that makes it an even better album. The production is amazing and the vocals are incredible and I really want to represent that, both on Objects Ltd and also on Planet Mu.

I listened to this album after it came out because I had it recommended to me and I loved it, just as my friend thought I would. These are important albums because they will sing to someone and that person will know exactly what she's saying in those lyrics and that is something that we absolutely need to treasure. That benefit is going to be multi-generational.
