Rare Vatican Shadow Releases Reissued

The collaborations with Demdike Stare and Silent Servant were originally available on a 25-run of cassettes

Kuwaiti Airforce, a rare and early Vatican Shadow tape, is being pressed to vinyl for the first time.

The tape was produced towards the beginning of Dominick Fernow’s Vatican Shadow project and was originally distributed in an edition of 25 tapes at a 2012 Los Angeles show that Fernow played with Silent Servant, Demdike Stare, Andy Stott and Kangding Ray.

Both sides of Kuwaiti Airforce will feature on the new double-vinyl release alongside rare collaborations with Demdike Stare and Silent Servant as well as other rare, cassette-only recordings from the early stages of Fernow’s side-project. You can stream all eight pieces featured on the release just above and purchase a vinyl copy here.
