Keeley Forsyth Announces Debut Album, ‘Debris’

It comes backed with a Maxine Peake-directed video for the album's title track

Keeley Forsyth, who has previously made her name as an actor, has shared details of her debut album, Debris.

Described as a "document of profound, personal change," the album’s announcement comes backed with a video for the title track directed by Maxine Peake. Speaking about the track and video, Peake says that "it’s about a rebirth, new light and clearer light. A beautiful sun, flares, falling on the surrounding flora and fauna."

Forsyth herself describes her songs as "blocks of metal that just drop from the sky," adding that "there was a lot going on in my life that was heavy" while writing the album.

The Leaf Label will release Debris on January 17, 2020.
