Deathprod and Giant Swan are amongst the first round of acts confirmed to play the Berlin festival next year

Berlin's CTM festival has made its first line-up announcement for 2020's edition with the likes of Deathprob, Giant Swan and Zamilska all set to play live.

Also confirmed today are Hildur Guðnadóttir (performing the soundtrack to TV series Chernobyl), AYA (FKA LOFT), US rapper Bbymutha, Kamaal Williams, VTSS and Monolake's Robert Henke (presenting his new audiovisual experience, 'CBM 8032 AV', which debuted last week at Unsound).

The theme for CTM's 21st edition is 'Liminal', as previously announced over the summer. Confirming next year's theme, the festival's organisers previously said that they have "hopes of stimulating a critical discussion of our present and possible futures" with next year's line-up and discourse programme.

CTM 2020 will take place across multiple Berlin venues, running from January 24 - February 2. The next line-up announcement will follow in November. Head here for tickets and to check the first line-up announcement in full.
