Depeche Mode Doc Now Online!

Jeremy Deller and Nick Abraham’s Depeche Mode Documentary, Our Hobby Is Depeche Mode, is finally online for streaming via Vimeo, above. The film was originally released back in 2006, but it has never been full available for public consumption, with just occasional cinema screenings. The film follows the lives of a group of Depeche Mode fans, exploring the deep connection that they have with the group, and how during the years in which much of Eastern Europe was under Communist dictatorship the band provided solace and a connection to western pop. The emergence of the film was announced by Deller today on twitter – "Mine and Nicks doc on Mode fans around the world is up forever I hope".
